Interesting debate on racism from the POV of Indians. Lots of interesting threads of thought.

I think anti-Indian bigotry is real, but it is not singular. At least one of the people on this video seems to think that blacks, chinese, nor malaysians are attached in western countries.

racism seems absurd to me , How anyone could be religious/racist is beyond me i guess its pore education and lack of critical thinking that allows these mental desises to persist.

Actually it's physical.

The amygdala experiences increased activity when faces of a different race are observed. This is exemplified in multiple studies, the landmark of which is this one: http://arjournals.annualreviews.org/doi/abs/10.1146/annurev.psych.57.102904.190212

Basically the brain triggers a "fight or flight" response when seeing a person of a race other than one's self. This is hardwired through evolution.

Pprt< YES I know how the mind works , that still dose not abstract from the absurdity of it all , For example intiatily sum one with no eye balls would repulse me but then i would use my intellect to be rational about it and not shoot them in the face.

Title for this should read "Frustratingly compared almost-debate about racism towards Indians".

I'm fascinated by the topic, however. As an Australian living in Melbourne, I know this city to be the most inviting and open capital in Australia. Why there has been this violence towards Indians recently is beyond me, as there is very little racial tension overall here.

The only thing I have against Indians is that they don't like Test Cricket enough. They could be the saviours of test cricket, but instead undermine it with 20/20 silliness for children with small attention spans. Oh the humanity!
