This sport it called "Kiiking" and was invented in Estonia around 1996. Current male record for length of swing flipped is 7,02 meters!

yea as a seperate sport..I'll acknowledge it..but this isn't a REAL swing which uses chains or a rope. Also I am fairly certain his feet are secured to the swing which is cheating.

Looks like a lot of fun. I wonder if the record of 7m is limited by human strength or other factors -- seems like it should be possible to go higher, but maybe it's limited by wind resistance.... This is one of the few things that makes me feel like working on a world record!
