My doubts went away immediately
Remember that one of the women in the video was assumed to be lying, too, and the other was assumed to have been misinformed. It is a matter of Occam's razor, not some implied gender-based discrimination. It's just harder to explain away a woman lying about a child she claims to have given birth to.
