this is close to the recipe for skunk odor removal, minus the potassium lodide:

# 1 quart 3 percent hydrogen peroxide
# 1/4 cup baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)
# 1 teaspoon liquid soap or dish detergent

this is THE way to remove skunk odor, it's the chemical neutralizer to the thiols in the skunks spray.

Just a 1/1 mix of Hydrogen Peroxide & Liquid Soap will get out Red Wine stains. So I guess adding the Potassium Iodide would get out Pink Champaign stains???
