Humpback Whale Feeding in Knudson Cove! (Ketchikan, Alaska)

This video gives a nice view of the bubble net technique that Humpback whales use to trap small fish inside a circle of bubbles, and then gobble them up.

I really couldn't believe it was going to happen that shallow. But bam there he was.

Looking at Google Earth, that marina is in an area that gets really deep, really quickly. The shoreline around it looks about 45 deg slopes.
