The Cat House On The Kings is (like the video says), basically a planet of the cats. They get to roam around free on the site's 12 acres, and if they don't get adopted, they get to stay their whole lives.

This is a great sift, and great story. Nice one lehall!
issy's gonna' freak.
Is that where IssyKitty will spend her retirement at?
Thumbs up to her for doing this, though.
What? She's single without children? No way!
Yeehaw! *snaps whip*
*upvote for the dog rolling in the cat shit in the distance behind her*
Imagine all the poop.
That's what the dogs are for. She doesn't need to buy any dog food, you know.
Exotic or large animal sanctuaries often rely heavily on close relationships with knowledgeable vets who are generous with their time. I remember this large rescue center from my neck of the woods has a vet and a clinic on-site, http://www.exoticfelinerescuecenter.org/ , so... animal health is something successful centers go to great lengths to take care of.
great first post
I KNOW.. this place is awesome, for $50 you get a 5 minute ride around the grouds on a four-wheeler ATV and there are no rules, at all. We brought our whole project management team as a team building / stress relief exercise.
It almost seems cruel to adopt a cat from this place.
Hello? lehall? Excellent find yo.
As for the video - I am fascinated by this place, and like Camhuffman, I donated even though I'm short on cash. Now that I know they give tours, a trip might be in order, the next time I'm in California!
Also, I'm so glad this got sifted...I always seem to find the craziest stuff on YouTube, so I'm glad to finally have a place to share 'em. Mwaha! Many thanks to all who have commented and upvoted. I'm glad to be a part of such an interesting community.

Given that your first post features cats, I get the feeling you'll fit right in.
And... idle rich? Did you not read the comments about people who are donating despite the fact they are low on cash? And who said they don't also donate to homeless shelters? Might want to get that sour attitude checked out.
The only rich people I know spend people I know spend tons of their money on charity and even run a non-profit food pantry for the homeless.
But then again, you're probably just making crap up based on nothing and I shouldn't bother responding to you.
