A short while later, Nakao's cornermen attacked Herring in what can only be seen as a secondary fit of stupidity. For those of you wondering, K-1 officials' final ruling on the match was a no contest, due to both Nakao's kiss and Herring's punch being ruled as fouls.

In all honesty, Nakao was lucky that was the end of it. His face wouldn't have EXISTED afterwards if the match had actually gone down.

I'm not sure who I have the most disdain for right now: the outstandingly insecure Herring, or the dimwitted Nakao. If you're gonna try to rile the other guy up as much as you can, whilst standing a few inches away from him, be aware that he may try to sucker-punch you!

Not to sound like an ad, but Herring is fighting in the UFC on Jan 25 2007, free on Spike TV. He's actually quite the fighter - a worthy challenger for Sylvia's belt (assuming Crocop doesn't get to him first).
