on the bus today I thought of a fairly simple solution to this:

have a printed code dispense at the place where customers give their order (the first stop) which they then must present to get their food at the service window (the second stop).

only thing is, setting up and maintaining a code dispenser thingymajig might cost more than the amount of money lost by people loopholing the system like this.

clearly, i should travel on the bus more often..
