And yet, this help the fact that cameras on phone, no matter how many megapixels they squeeze in there, have terrible little lenses that take poor photos due to having a hard time getting good light in.

Yes... handy to have without having your 'real' camera to hand, but no substitute.

Applies better to small point and shoots as you can't take great pictures with your cell phone.

Pictures taken with full flash right in the face also make me cry. I hate the flash. Darn you flash.

My old crap Motorola took WORSE photos at hi-rez. Proper lighting is KEY, though. Forget a flash, strong natural light is key. The rule of thirds is wonderful, but contradicts the 'full frame' advice. Fail. No movement - duh. The LG Shine, I must point out, takes surprisingly AWESOME photos.

Abducted is right about the generic advice being better for P&S models.

I was hoping for some more cell-phone specific tips here, still upvote, as it's cute enough to go through. Or I'm late and my judgement is impaired by lack of sleep.
