Hot, nerdy girls are not a myth!

A response to 1-900-NERD-GIRL (http://www.videosift.com/video/1-900-Nerd-Girl) that echoes my own sentiment. "Don’t pretend that we don’t exist, because we did enough of that in high school…"

See, my issue with this video?

She's saying she's hot.

I mean, she is hot, very cute... BUT doesn't it smack, just slightly, of being very full of yourself to assume that everyone thinks so? People who think they're hot, and think that everyone else thinks they are, are kinda a turnoff...

But yeah.

She is hot. Dammit.

Ill upvote cause because some of her obscure references made me laugh. I mean come on she quoted Galaxy Quest. Though I do know a few hot nerdy girls and i will say they all act the same. They're attention crazed, know their hot, drunk on empowerment, innocent yet seductive, and never afraid to one up guys on facts not because they know more but because no one expects it. I dare say if we all accepted the hot nerd girl it would be the death of them because once they become "normal" their exclusive status is gone and the interest in the attention they get will be lost.

Aww geez.

Sure, it's cool now, but soon my gigantic amounts of nerdery will turn into heavy lumps of geeky cellulite, and I'm left in the corner by myself mumbling about Babylon 5 to a conveniently placed houseplant.

Again

Cool nerd girls exist too, look at mintbbb and nicolebee!

Guess I'll have to keep my eyes open at Gen Con now...

But seriously, what kind of geek speaks in "Elvish"? Any nerd worth his or her salt will refer to the language by its proper name of Sindarin!

Sifters don't have bodies, but float in a beautiful consciousness-singularity mediated by the Internet. As such, nerd-induced cellulite have no effect on us. We are legion, with firm buttocks.

Nerds are inherently creepy, what with their giant brains. Thinking a lot about things, quickly makes the everyday thing creepy.

I dated a girl in highschool who this broad reminds me a lot of. She was pretty nerdy, incredibly good looking, but also very very creepy.
