Followed almost invariably by *EXIT STAGE RIGHT . . .

My theory is that this bit of business (sunglasses off, sunglasses on, zinger/hands on hips, exit stage right) is solely a product of Caruso's pet tyrannical demands on the crew.

And due to this Sift, I find myself punctuating things that I say with "the scream" in my head.
