I don't doubt that this is related to the religious nature of the button, but the company is protected by their general no-button policy.
Good luck with god getting you a job since you technically "TOK YER OWN JEB"
But, time will tell if there is any effect on this issue.
Sounds like Home Depot has policy in place regarding the issue. They do it, to protect their butts from lawsuits of any kind. While this man is free to display his 1st Amendment, it is generally understood in professional circles, that religion is one of two subjects you do not bring up (the other being politics).
Funny, we talk about that all the time. But then, we're Canadian so meh.
Nice how one of the two reasons was the *military support. Fishy how the button became an issue only after he brought in the Bible though.
You'd think that happy restaurant owner would take him on though.
