1) the video is to long 2) there's nothing else to do in that cage. it's probably bored as hell. 3) no padding or wood chips for the hamster to lay on. 4) looked like the guy smacked the cage a couple of times.
Jeez people it's a hamster, it's what they do. If he was in the wild he'd still be doing nothing but running, only it would be from predators. Plus if you're on a treadmill thats going too fast you're bound to fall off.
Flyingkitty-Yes Indeed. Chaucer??? The misplaced concern and sympathy for, or ascribing of self-conscious awareness to, a rodent???? That could be attributed to insanity.....
He is not knocking the little fella out, but he ain't exactly giving Twirly the greatest digs to nest in.....but what do you expect?? That sounds like a French accent on the telly in the background, and people who keep rodents in cages, in their rooms, well......
A pet snake would be a roommate that could cure the exercise fetish pronto....

I wish I could downvote this.
as this video is to long.
I think it was the wheel wobbling and hitting the cage...
...or the hamster hitting the cage.
But cats'n'dogs and sports seem to be relevant ...
