There are a lot of great endings to video games but then you have those games that just have terrible game endings either by what they say or do... Even a simple typo can make it pretty bad... or a few???

Some games just suck throughout the game and what completes a terrible game is a terrible ending!

#1 is Amagon, first game I ever rented, way back in 1989. Damn it was difficult, finally got to see the ending!

#7 looks to be Bill and Ted's Excellent Video Game, although I could be wrong about that.
#8 is Renegade, a game I completed many times in the arcade

Crap you're right... #8 is Kung Fu, not Renegade. I believe Kung Fu was one of the first-gen Nintendo games in North America.

Waiiiiiit a second here... Am I the only one put off by Splinter's turning "back" into human form? He was supposed to have been a sewer rat affected by radioactive poison. He was never human!

Right?

Upon seeing the Mario ending, I immediately recalled being very satisfied as a child, so I'm guessing back then the other endings were probably sufficient as well.

Lucky is probably one of those TMNT poseurs whose first exposure was the 1990 feature film. The movie had an origin sequence showing Splinter as a rat who was *already* practicing ninja arts beside his master before discovering the baby turtles. So not only was he a rat in the first place, he apparently didn't need to mutate before becoming a talking ninja rat.

Hehe. I'm kind of embarassed about what I said.
I was actually an enormous fan of TMNT as a kid before the live action flick was released. (I even spent a lot of my elementary school days endlessly drawing the turtles on any blank paper I could find.) I saw every episode of the original cartoon, but haven't seen it since and my most recent re-exposure to them aside from the new cgi animated theater release was the original movie. I guess I forgot what it was to be a TMNT fan.

Please forgive me for what I said. It just wasn't right. And I'm sorry.
