I bet they played christian rock at the reception.
There is one redeeming feature, however - no 80s 'retro' dance moves.
just think thriller for starters
imagine their children seeing this fifteen years from now, asking them 'did you really actually like this kind of music in your olden times?'
looks like people had fun though.. and i guess that's all that matters in the end
i hope that didn't come off as bitchy and negative
Mind you, videos of elaborate flashmobs and nice over-the-top proposals have moved me beyond words and I sure as hell don't like being this negative in response to what's supposed to be this real feel-good video - but that's just how I sees it
Bunch of pickle-faces.
Lighten up!
celebratedgood dancers and haveunimpeachablegood taste in wedding-appropriate music.I'm bewilderedI think it's dumb that people would feel the need to gocritiquebitch about something like this. It might be cheesy viewing it from where you are, but it's not like it was made for an Internet audience. It was for the people there, and they all seemed todig itthink it was good.*dance!
I am flummoxed that anyone would find the need to critique my viewpoint, and if so, bamboozled that they would form and express a negative opinion!
Their opinions must be completely perfect for them to criticise mine like this.
Kind of what marriage is about for me: fun, sharing, smiling.
I can't believe anyone would judge my above comment so negatively! All I did was form a personal view and then post it on a public and open forum for the entire world to see and potentially respond to.

This is teh internet my friend. EVERYONE's opinion is perfect.
I thought it was fun, and as an ex-raver--still-dance music fan--I thought it was fantastic. Everyone there loved it. Will they remember it in 30 years? Heck yeah, as a meaningful blast! How many weddings have you been to where you said "that was freakin' awesome?" or at least "that was something new"?
And Shole, who cares what their kids think? Did you consider that at your wedding (or would you consider it when you get married if you're not)? NO! Of course not. It's YOUR night and YOUR show and YOUR choice. It's YOUR joy and YOUR fun and YOUR vow. Anyone who judges you on your wedding choices needs to re-evaluate their emotional state.
Bottom line:
ONE AWESOME WEDDING
and one probably confused and oddly entertained pastor.
I now pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. Douchebag.
I see no such popped collars. Come out of the corner and dance.

As quoted from Lucky's Post (of which I had to invoke "dupeof"):
"I just watched the wedding episode of The Office and they referred multiple times to "that video on YouTube," so I had to find out what it was. This is that video. For perhaps the first time ever, a television show explicitly imitates a video from YouTube. Neat stuff." -Lucky760
That was an awesome entrance and to see that bride all happy and dancing and even if it was fake or made up or whatever, its a happy happy video and douche bags shouldn't bring that down.
(in the good way)
ship some of you to disneyland
These are some of the most genuinely happy people I've ever seen. It's so innocent and good natured.
And as it happens, the cinematography is (coincidentally) quite excellent at 3:00 when the groom stands up, straightens his tie, and the rest of the procession swims by. If I made a montage of the best Internet videos ever, those 30 seconds would be in it.
