You may have caught the full length version of this submitted by Eric

This clip is just a portion, the youtuber edited in some information claiming this clip keeps getting banned from youtube. Well this clip has been up for almost a month and not been banned yet.

I sympathize with the the youtuber, the way youtube is set up is that if enough people mark a video as inappropriate it will get banned from youtube, not matter what the context of the clip is... For example, Richarddawkins.net had it's account banned from youtube because of this particular loop hole. Many people (I assume christians) complained about the content..hence his account got banned.

In regards to this clip, and the Zeitgeist doc in general, it would be interesting to find the facts to back up the info presented. the Religion segment of that Doc is truly mind blowing.

My guess is that he directly insulted Christians, therefore youtube had to penalize him and ban his account.

This clip itself remains to be untouched, because he's not attacking/insulting any specific group, at least not as harsh as his previous works.

Is my guess.

Pretty interesting stuff. Never knew so many symbolisms packed into a little character named Jesus

I just saw the full length of the whole movie.

And I must say, 2/3 of the movie is just BS.

Yes, the 'legend of jesus' was heavily influenced by paganism to make him 'divine'. But many of the examples they give as facts, don't check out. Horus, Hour, sun thing is convincing, but it holds no solid evidence. SUN SET? I can't believe I fell for that one...

For someone who is criticising the dark sides of religion, he sure mimics its habits perfectly. This movie is just anti-religion, anti-government, anti-media, anti everything.

Just call it 'Emo documentary'

I want my vote back!!!

Oh God, not Zeitgeist. Watch the whole documentary, not just the clip at the beginning. The people that made Zeitgeist are insane and nothing it says can be relied upon. The reason that the religion part starts the movie off and why most people *only* link to and quote the religion part is because the rest of the movie has the credibility of a mental patient rolling around in a straight jacket.

If you check the "facts" in this clip, they are completely fabricated. He keeps saying that all the gods were born on Christmas of a virgin and murdered, then resurrected. None of this is true. A simple check of the true facts will present this clip as wishful thinking, and I think that's why it is constantly removed from Youtube; the facts don't add up.

I have neither the requisite knowledge nor the inclination to engage with the religious content of this "documentary," but judging by the ludicrous and deceitful nature of its 9/11-related content (and also by the anti-Semites, thoroughly discredited conspiracy fantasists, neo-Nazis, survivalist gun nuts, racists and Holocaust deniers it cites as sources), I wouldn't recommend put too much faith in it.

Titles that sit too long then take forever to fade...like putting a vintage date on a barrel of hogwash.

legacy its not anti everything. dont know what youre on about. i found it rather enlightening. if you do abit of research about the 1st part you will find that hes simply stating the facts, and that is what is necessary. surely?

Ok, I watched the full video. The religious aspects could have been skipped. Dispite the possible linkages to previous beliefs, there really is no tie-in to the second and third parts of the video.

I personally have always hated the Federal Reserve System and IRS. I agree with what is said regarding monitary control and income tax. The Constitution says that Congress shall regulate the money supply...not private thieves. The Ferderal Income Tax...smells like a turd to this dog.

All you anti-conspiracy people are always asking for proof from the other side like the shit being handed out by the government is gold. Perhaps you should be more open-minded to the opinions documented. There is plenty of evidence/video testimony from everyday people which is discounted for the sake of a certain belief.

Finally, don't expect answers or resolution from the political parties...they're just feeding at the trough.

So, in light of the fact that there’s absolutely nothing in the way of compelling empirical evidence for the conspiracy theories, you claim that we should simply jettison (or at least substantially devalue) tiresome old concepts such as evidence, argument, reason and expert opinion. Instead, we should embrace anti-intellectualism and privilege pseudo-evidence in the form of the “opinions of everyday people.” Well, there’s a name for that: demagoguery. If we were to heed your advice, we would then see creationism (not to mention practically every other crackpot idea under the sun) being taught in publically funded schools.

You’re right about one thing though, the claims of the conspiracy theorists and their acolytes are indeed being “discounted for the sake of a certain belief” – the belief that an empirical theory needs to actually be supported by evidence.
