That is a classic. Having traversed those amber waves of grain on a regular basis, it's hit the cruise control and lash yourself to the wheel, wake up and turn slightly about every 10 or 20 miles. Oh, and don't forget to crab into the wind. Steady 20 knots all the time. If it gets to 30 knots you have fun watching the big rigs tilt as you dodge the tumbleweeds.

I'm originally from Nebraska, so the highway driving experience is i-fucking-dentical. Snoozy's right; if you've got good alignment you can take 20 or 30 minute naps on some stretches without a worry.

notice that all of us from the area think this was great. There isn't anything interesting to do. that's the point. I grew up there and could not wait to leave. Now that I have, I think the place is so dull and backwards it's comical. the video nails it right on the head. I loved that they got it right with the fields being wheat and not corn.
