I was born 'n raised in NE Ohio. I remember where I was that fateful fall evening in 1997 during game 7 of the World Series. I've heard all the insults and all the jabs. I admit that I doubt - deep in my heart - that I'll ever see a Cleveland team win a championship.

But damnit, I still root for them.

(And now, I'm going to go watch two of our previous Cy Young winners battle it out in the World Series. *sigh*)
