Goalie has a great day

Nice dance at the end

Yeah, specifically, what's with the "I want to get away" music? I suppose it's for the opposing goalie, but a "Eye of the Tiger" type song for the scoring goalie would've been a much better choice.

Does it count?
edit: to answer my own question, page 46 of the FIFA rules of play...
"A goal may be scored directly from a goal kick, but only against the opposing team."

Actually it wasn't a Goal Kick - you missed (misinterpreted) the definition:

    (P46)
A goal kick is a method of restarting play.
A goal kick is awarded when the whole of the ball passes over the goal
line, either on the ground or in the air, having last touched a player of the
attacking team, and a goal is not scored in accordance with Law 10.
A goal may be scored directly from a goal kick, but only against the
    opposing team.

In this instance the ball was gathered by the goal keeper from the penalty, so it is defined as being "in play". See page 42, Law 14 - The Penalty Kick:

    "
  • The ball is in play when it is kicked and moves forward
  • "

As no law was infringed from this point, the goal is scored by the goal keeper (from his clearance kick) according to "Law 10 - The Method of Scoring" (p31).
