No wonder EA attempted a hostile take over mere weeks before the release.
I mean consoles? Pshh
I'm looking forward to this game coming to PC, because consoles are only for fighting games and guitar hero.
Agreeance.
And to those waiting for the PC version, good choice, as the mouse/keyboard combo was an excellent control system back in 1995.
I like how the reviewer makes a case that 60 bucks makes it a bargain. -And that he would even pay 300 bucks for it. Sounds to me like a little jab at those who have not been able to get a 360 or PS3 yet. I have, but I don't think I'm interested in the plot. Oh wait, the reviewer forgot to mention the plot.
Forgot the plot?
..is this sarcasm?
I'll start with a quote "Even IF the single-player wasn't that great, the multiplayer makes it worth while."
"The single player has an incredible amount of depth."
And then from IGN itself, the written review
"Don't worry, GTA's famed over-the-top action and tongue-in-cheek humor are intact, but there is a new level of sophistication in the characters and the game world that raises the story above the norm."
and finally,
"10 Presentation
The story is Oscar quality. The use of the phone as a gaming portal is genius. There's really nothing more that could be asked for from GTA IV."
And then, this, because the concept just sounds awesome,
"And then there is Cops n' Crooks, the best of the objective-based multiplayer games. This has two teams, one side lawmen, the other hoodlums. The crooks are trying to get to a randomly selected extraction point and the cops are trying to arrest them with bullets. This mode forces teamwork, as both teams must strategize on the fly and rely on one another to assist in navigation. I"

"Warm Coffee" for the freaking win.
Just to pick some nits, they gave Soul Calibur 10/10 a year after Ocarina, even if you don't count the several handheld games that also got a perfect score.
@Animals - heck, GTA1 had multiplayer too - this'll be great.
I remember fleeing my friend's police car in a VW bug... oh, the chaos. Oh the humanity.
Warm coffee FTW indeed, that's hilariously awesome.
I LOVE that (below) phraseology.

I can't wait till it gets released for the PC. I don't see myself buying a console for one game. I don't even know anyone that owns a console.
my girlfriend already hates it.
I've been a bit suspicious over IGN reviews since they whole fiasco over advertisers adjusting reviews...
That was Gamespot, although you can't trust any reviews now after that disaster.
No game EVER deserves a 10/10 ever. There is no perfect game. Except maybe Half-Life 2.
Ugh. Half-Life 2 is so overrated. Almost as badly as Halo.
I don't really see anything ground breaking there.
There's in-game Polish people.
Instantly awesome.
