I've noticed that most people who support this type of policy have never been in real combat. I don't know about this nut´job, but he was probably pushing paper while he was in the military.

I think the fundamental error is that he assumes that if they have them in Gitmo, they are terrorists. As we have seen time and again, the act of putting someone into custody doesn't automatically make them guilty... given the way that many of these people were captured, I'm willing to bet that a lot of them weren't terrorists, but just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

That said, you better believe they are going to be terrorists when they get released. After being tortured and abused by the US, they are going to want to fight that shit once they get back home...
