Front Row On World's Steepest Roller Coaster

Break.com: With its 121-degree drop, the Takabisha is recognized as the World's Steepest Roller Coaster by the Guinness Book of World Records. Amazing. It looks like you go down just as fast as your food comes up.

Steepest? Really?

Maybe I don't understand what steep means, but it seems to me that there is a maximum steepness that anything can achieve and it has been achieved for many years on lots of roller coasters.

I read in another news article that this coaster has an incline of 121 degrees for it's drop. A coaster with an outside loop (common on inverted coasters) would have a 180 degree incline so there must be something else to this "record".

Was reading the record on this, and they define "Drop" as the main acceleration point, or drop from the highest point of the coaster where max speed is usually reached. It is the angle of that decent that is being measured. Kind of arbitrary, but so are most records
