That purely boggles the mind. So many pieces of this seem beyond belief. Holding your breath for 3:30 of moderate to heavy physical activity. The compression of the chest cavity due to the ~8 atmospheres of pressure at that depth...I'm amazed his ribcage didn't collapse.

I'm with Stormsinger on this one, this sport is a sport I've always wanted to do, but due to our lakes being mainly muddy as hell and pretty shallow the incentive to dive isn't huge.

If you want to talk about retarded sports, what about walking?
