Take it as given, ANY perpetual motion machine is a hoax. And EVERY "free energy" machine is nothing more or less than a perpetual motion machine.

What -I- really want to know is, why in the hell can't the news organizations fucking get a clue about these stories. They're ALWAYS scams. But every three months, we get another set of "unlikely inventors" trying to claim they have broken the laws of physics.

BWAHAHA.. "Free Energy" and "Is it real?"

Gee einstein, what do you think? Did the laws of physics just get totally thrown out the window???

Yes, magnetics make low friction moving parts, but nothing changes the fact that these "free energy" crapola are not lifting a 300lb weight, ie. doing WORK.

unless this worked in some way i am unaware of

Its just using magnets as fuel, It probably took a huge amount of energy to produce the magnet sin the first place , this is simply extracting that energy that is within the magnets , over time the magnets will lose strength,

in the same way that if you use coal and set it on fire , its not magically producing energy you are simply using the energy that is stored in the coal , energry that was captured from the sun by plants over milloins of years.

joedirt and westy - I wasn't representing the literal interpretation of the claim as being sound. Interesting reaction though.
