Fox needs an Eductaion in Spelling

How will we ever be able to trust Fox News after this? (From College Humor)

Having almost been a chyron operator (the guy that changes the text at the bottom of the screen), I can say that if a breaking story comes in, you need to have the ability to type VERY fast, while you've got some egomaniacal booth director screaming orders at you and everyone else. I'm sure the chyron guy here got chewed out simply for accidentally transposing two letters.

With that said though, this didn't appear to be a breaking story, so the guy probably just fat fingered the title.

The worst is CC'ing during big events. During Gulf War II one guy was really losing it with the crews that were deploying the cruise missles. Got it wrong every time. I could almost hear him cursing.

^ That's probably why both the title of the vid and the actual spelling error on the screen were missed by people.

Hehe, that's a neat psycholinguistic trick. And yeah, I feel bad for the guy who had to type the title. I think we've all gotten ahead of ourselves in typing and transposed letters at one time or aonther.

I intentionally spelled Education that way in the title. It was actually hard typing it that way, I had to concentrate to make sure I spelled it incorrectly (of course it's easy to fat finger something and not notice).

I know, I'm saying that people who watched the video missed the error (me included until I read the comments).

Now, for those such as Alanis Morrisette who are confused with what, in fact, is irony? This video is ironic. Not a traffic jam when you're already late, or a no smoking sign on your cigarette break. However, those examples can be easily made ironic. A traffic jam, when you're already late for your interview to become the new traffic planner for the city. A no smoking sign on your cigarette break from your job at a cigarette packaging factory.

OMG! A typo caused by very fast writing! OMG!
Humans never make mistakes! We should ban Fox now!

Seriously, I dont like Fox either, but this is just pathetic fingerpointing which you are normally only used from 6 year olds...
The irony doesnt make it funnier.

Is comedy entirely lost on you?

I've come up with a perfect, two word example of irony: lifeguard drowns. So yeah, I feel your pain.
