Fox Doesn't Know What to Do After the Election

Fox has devolved into a gossip rag, since their savior wasn't elected.

They're mad at Oprah, they're mad at other celebrities, and they're mad at "self-aggrandizers" in the McCain camp who "knee-capped" Sarah Palin.

Did anyone catch what happened just before Fox stopped covering the election?

We were watching (for laughs) Comedy, CNN, CBC and (for laughs) Fox that night, and when things looked like they were going well for Obama (but well before the real news channels called it) we flipped back to Fox to see it had dropped coverage and was screening sitcom reruns instead.

That got a laugh from all of us, and we were wondering if somebody from Fox just went "This is BS. Hell with it. I'm leaving. Run some sitcoms or something. @#$%" or if they just shrugged and cut.

Did they even air the acceptance speech? I think shortly before it we flipped back and they were showing old Simpsons eps.

McCain was never "the savior" of the party. He was nominated by default. And he would have gotten further slaughtered if Palin didn't join the ticket.

Get over it already. The Messiah was elected. Let thy soul rejoice.

Um, if I remember correctly. It was Fox News (Fair and Balanced) that started breaking all the negative news on Sara Palin after the election. Now all of a sudden it's a bad thing?

Fair and Balanced would've meant reporting it before the election, not after.

Fair and Balanced would've meant realizing that William Ayers barely knew Obama, or realizing that Gordon Liddy had both committed worse crimes, and had a closer relationship to John McCain than Ayers had to Obama.

Fair and Balanced would've meant admitting that a progressive tax system was implemented by Theodore Roosevelt (Republican), and the Earned Income Tax Credit was implemented by Ronald Reagan (the Republican "Messiah"), and that if either are socialism, then it was the Republicans who made us socialist a long time ago.

While I do agree that Oprah was pretty ostentatious in her support, I figured that, because she is not purporting to have a "news" show, she doesn't need to be bipartisan. News. Bah.

On the other hand, this reminds me of McCain's tactics of attacking Obama by pointing out how much donations he's gotten in his campaign. Damn that Oprah and Obama and their "camp" for being so well-liked and such.

G. Gordon Liddy's original idea was to kidnap and mug key political opponents.

Nixon's people didn't go along with it only because they were afraid of getting caught.

None of us on the left see Obama as a Messiah.

The childishness coming from the right is nauseating in the extreme.

We now have proof of higher dimensions of reality not seen by the average man. This dimension is in the lives and minds of fox news & the republican party(far right anyways).

These guys just create their own controversy out of thin air.

ANY news channel can say "Did president obama, in brushing his teeth this morning, indicate that he hates all jewish people? Here's Billy Randomguy; what's your take on all of this?" "Well hitler used to clean his teeth and i know he didn't like jews, it all comes down to blah blah blah."

They just make shit up and pose it in the form of a question then get someone to answer that question with factless rhetoric, surely there must be a way to turn this ingenius tactic around on them.

Are fox news a bunch of wankers and liars grouped together and pretending to be a news team? We ask the poster below his opinions!

of course blacks are happy. not that this going to change anything. just ask the question: who runs the Federal Reserve? The government or the real bosses (international criminals)...

Hilarious for FOX outrage at a talk show host being too biased. The only way to make the hypocrisy thicker is to have good 'ol Bill O complain about Oprah trying to "sway" the election.
