As a further aside, there was an Australian show I saw once which did an excellent job of examining how a single bullet could have traveled how it was said to, and replicated the shot with gel dummies positioned exactly how the President and the Governor were sitting before the shot(the rear seats were elevated, a fact I had never known), even using the same style gun and ammo Harvey was found with, from the same distance, etc. It was pretty convincing. The head wound with ballistic gel dummy, if I recall correctly, did rock forward with the hit and then backwards in recoil, but it wasn't so much discussed.

Exit wounds - as we have already mentioned - are usually larger than the entrance wound and this is because as the round moves through the body of the victim it slows down and explodes within the tissue and surrounding muscle. This slowing down of the projectile means that as it reaches the end of its trajectory it has to force harder to push through. This equates to the exit wound normally looking larger and considerably more destructive than its pre-cursor - the entrance wound.
I feel for jackie having to witness it happening inches away. What a nightmare.
Not to mention having to jump on the trunk to grab the top of his skull.
Martin Luther and Kennedy. In the day if you had a streak of liberalism in you, you were bound to be a target of assassination. Quite unfortunate. Both individuals were great men for their vision and desire to make the US a better place.
