sadly, it's a movie based on game - therefore it will suck donkey balls. That is the rule, there are no good movies from computer games, not one!

Not even a cast of good actors (like this one) and a nice looking trailer will alter the fact that it's a movie based on a game and will suck (sadly)

What's with the angels-things? Those weren't in either Max Payne games; and what's with Mona Sax being in the first movie; and what's with Marky fucking Mark being Max Payne?

I have instant dislike of this. And I loved Max Payne.

"Marky Fucking Mark" has been good in a few films, so im not too worried about him playing max. Mona Sax was in the first game. My worry is whether mila kunis can pull of a serious role, as ive always found her kind of annoying.
It looks promising, and im glad (from what it looks like) that they have tried to incorporate the hallucinations that Max goes through in some form.

Heh, did anyone else catch that the final gun cocking sound was taken straight from the game?

Hitman wasn't too bad. Not great, but it was a good popcorn movie.

The writing for this one looks like it'll be amazing. It looks like it sticks close to the feel of the original game, which had excellent writing itself. The director John Moore, though, isn't really the best choice; none of his films have been more than a hair's width above mediocrity.

I'm hopeful, but all too aware of the possibility of being disappointed.
