Indeed, Mortal Kombat was one of the games politicians used to target because of their 'psychotic inducing influence on kids', along with Doom. Now of course it's 'Grand Theft Auto'.

Imagine how tame GTA will seem in ten years. I was growing up when this came out. Schools were freaking out in the South because of its somewhat Satanic nature. Looking back, it was really funny and cartoonish.

wow, i played Mortal Kombat back then, but i never get all the Fatalities. I remember when i got the "Babality" (with the little babies) and was kinda shocked
