These brave people come clean with the truth that NASA has been hiding proof of an alien base on the moon. I for one welcome our new batshit crazy overlords.

Are they fucking serious? Yeah. Base on the moon, and no, we've never landed there. That was all a hoax.

Come on. How do they sidestep the fact that any asshole with a few grand laying around can but a fairly powerful telescope and look at the moon all they want?
Or how about people that have access to observatory telescopes? Like they can't look at it all they want?
Seriously.

Upvote out of sheer disbelief that people that stupid are among us.

The moon: for several years she has fascinated many.

You would need some seriously powerful telescope to look at the dark-side of the moon.

WOOT! Finally REAL PROOF. I'm so glad these guys decided to break their 30 year silence and share this with us... What bravery!

*snark*

I wish these idiots would go and look at the European Space Agency moon mapping images.

The Chinese Space Agency will also start mapping "every inch of the moon" quite soon.

Interesting moon landing fact:
Holywood people were heavily involved in the moon landings, they were brought in to make sure that the filming of the most important event in human history looked as good as it could possibly have been.

They even had the launch site moved to a location where the sun would be in the background making for a more dramatic shot.

Holywood were repaid by getting one of their own men into the whitehouse. That man was Ronald Reagan.

Ok. I found an example. Now somebody google up the explanation, please. Some kind of camera glitch? Empty space between mosaic parts filled up with similar blur?

Actually the location you pointed out Ajkido, it has a few examples. But if you look closely that blur spot follows a vertical line on both sides all the way down. It's part of the film strip where they line them up side by side, with the part you pointed out being tapered. Most of the film probably overlapped photos, with some parts of the film possibly not exposing properly or optics issues, or even just sucky trimming and merging of all the photo strips. You have to remember since the moon is a sphere and all photos were of a 35mm type rectangle, it's going to have to be trimmed at some point to avoid overlapped and duplicate imaging. And if there was a gap between photos, it had to be filler with some form of filler. And photo editting as it is known today did no exist. But nonetheless, it is still very fascinating.

No crazier than the premise the US government coordinated 9/11.

Lies. This is obviously the Illuminati base of interstellar operations. <.< >.> <.<

I'd just like the moon lords to know, that as the admin of a major community website- I could be useful in rounding up others to toil in their underground selenium caves.

I'm into Amateur Astronomy. If ANYTHING is on 'this side' of the moon. It will be instantly detected. Check this out. This image is the type of high resolution shot one can achieve with BACKYARD equipment.

http://higginsandsons.com/astro/images/Moretus-mosaic-08-03-07.jpg

Check that resolution out. If there was any base or complex. It would stand out like a sore thumb. Make sure to click on the image to zoom it into its full resolution.

There is no doubt that the US govt wants a moon base. Whether it currently exists or will exist in the future. But there is no 'alien' base. Japan has a probe in orbit of the moon now. China is getting into it as well. Any 'secret' base certainly wouldn't remain secret for too long.

Still, such videos are quite humorous.

You would need some seriously powerful telescope to look at the dark-side of the moon.

Googtube, all the images presented here are from the nearside of the moon. That's why they're illuminated. The dark side of the moon is in eternal darkness, hence it's name.

Marine, you wanna take another shot at that?

the other side is the opposite side of the moon, not the dark side of the moon. there is no permanent dark side of the moon.

I will take another shot. The far side is always away from the Earth, so it is never illuminated from Earth's POV.

Johnald:
I give you the first line of the wiki article on the far side of the moon: "The far side of the Moon is the lunar hemisphere that is permanently turned away from the Earth. "

Marine . . . OK, think for a second. These guys were orbiting the moon. They were on the far side of the moon (i.e., Earth was invisible to them or at least partially blocked by the moon). The sun was behind them either fully or partially (i.e., those on Earth would see a new moon or a thin crescent). Therefore the "back side" is illuminated pretty much as often as the "front side".

Wanna take another shot at that MG?
