This is just open to a whole series of debates - I couldn't imagine why anyone would want to be engaged in a relationship with their own child or parent.

It could be the years of separation that made them strangers to start with, then finding someone with similar traits??? The father should have been the first to stand up and declare discourage the possibility of the relationship regardless of his own feelings.

And regardless of public opinion, once they had a child, to destroy the relationship may be wrong with respects to that child.

Honestly, I have no idea on this one...
