This was 1998's unofficial ( Three Lions was the official) football song for England in the World Cup. It was sung at the top of voices in every pub and consequent streets during the cup, one of the best times I can remember in terms of buzz and fever pitch excitement. Alex James (Blur bassist) and Keith Allen (Lily's dad) formed Fat Les back in '98 to release this comedy song. The video parodies the famous Bitter Sweet Symphony vid by The Verve. They still haven't come up with a better one
