Good question, stingray. Surprisingly, high-end fashion doesn't really makes these companies a profit. It's a huge faux pas to be caught wearing the same dress as someone else, even in different places at different times, so there's no real profit even if the dresses are 20,000 grand each. These shows are publicity for the lower-end items like belts, socks, underwear, accessories, shoes, and what not, that they can sell by the freighter full. That's where they make the big bucks.
