It is interesting that they consider it a "learned reaction". I don't know if my partner and I agree with that. I am upset they use the word "disorder" in the way that they do though. The "facts" they display on the screen I am familiar with, but personally I think everyone is different, and I know many women who are perfectly okay without orgasm during sex.

Also, I find it funny she ends the interview with "to each his own". heh.

Though the sensation of sexual pleasure is generally involuntary, the whole event described as an "orgasm" is something that can be improved, and therefore can be learned. I'm pretty sure that's what she means.

Maybe you're uncomfortable with the term "disorder", and I respect that. However if someone can help a man or a woman achieve orgasms or have better orgasms, isn't that worthwhile?

wow. I am impressed with her level of realness and candid sharing of knowledge which must come with much exposure, understanding, & experience which she doesn't take for granted.
I wish I could start a church to evangelise the idea that women can make themselves important to themselves...then there might never be the tragedy of a woman going years without experiencing an orgasm.
(and I would triple upvote kronos' comment if I could)

^I don't think so. It's a medical discussion of sex and sexual dysfunction, nothing lewd or gratuitous. Unless you work for Pat Robertson, I think it's safe for work. (Not "you" personally, syncron. Just "you" in the broader, generalized sense.)

Is it just me or is this woman bordering shouting when she answers? So loud...

OMG, that was so awful, that I seriously need to swallow tons of anti-depressants and will have to watch Jenna Jameson vs Bill O’Reilly (http://www.videosift.com/video/Jenna-Jameson-on-OReilly-talks-about-Feminism-and-Porn) 10 times over to be able to come again, this year ;-).

On a slightly more mature note - I was surprised at how well-done this was, even though I do disagree with some parts. If you're already orgasmic and trying to learn more about orgasms in general, sure. This is a decent video. If, however, you are a Pre-Orgasmic woman (and I much prefer that term to having a "disorder"), this really isn't the video for you. I shelled out several thousand dollars to a sex therapist a few years ago and was actually surprised at the frequency of this problem. I was the youngest one in my class - half the women were in their 30s, and half were married.

I also find it interesting that she calls it a "learned response." Certainly once I "learned" what orgasm was all about, I made up for lost time. However, you'd think once it was learned, it couldn't be lost. In addition, once it was learned, orgasm would be achievable every time, without fail. And that's also not true.
