Couldn't have said it better.
There will be about 4 years of coverage of her complaining about how bad a job Obama is doing, what we should be doing instead, blah blah blah. Typical stuff. Then she'll announce she's running for 2012. However, smart people are the most unspoken and will prevail in that election.

As for the actual reasons I can think of a few.
1.A new scandal is brewing ans she's trying to avoid it, (probably the most popular at the moment).
2.She some how thinks this will help her run for president in 2012.
3.She sees Alaska going down the crapper and is trying to get out before the blame can be pinned on her.
4. She's afraid of getting crushed in the next gubernatorial election, (I understand Alaskans are none too happy with her at the moment)

She made some very good points there. If even Conservative commentators are willing to state the obvious, the GOP is truly in trouble.
What points?
I mean really...tell me...what did they just impart upon us?
1. Someone wrote an article and called her nutty.
2. That investigation is probably the reason she quit.
3. Shes fucking nutty, and ill suited.
Like that needed to be "analysed"?
I thought one of the big points of the campaign was how inexperienced it was.
It just seemed like he was going to say "No matter what gender..or...race" but was holding it back.
Sarah Palin as an intellectual or a serious organization leader: that's not who she is.
You guys are agreeing with Liz Trotta, the woman who said Obama should have been knocked off? You're geniuses.
And yet even this bitter harpy of a woman is mature enough to admit when she agrees with her "enemies".
