This gas powered (generator) exoskeleton uses a complex array of sensors to match your body movements, and makes a 70 lb. load (Which is far too much for a normal soldier to carry) feel like only five!

I'm looking forward to seeing what this system looks like as they perfect it. Really cool stuff.
The soldier still has to carry his body armor, which usually consists of 15 pounds of bullet-proof plates names SAPIs - Small Arms Protective Inserts. Then the two pound helmet, and weapon, radio (maybe) and ammo. All that adds to a LOT of additional weight.
My flack jacket (Which contained ammo and SAPIs) weighed almost 25 pounds alone.
Thanks again for helping me save one of my favorite sifts!

Cool stuff. I'm sure they're pretty far away from military application though.
