This video is to raise awareness of an apparantly law passing though next week - it will mean that European Internet Users will have a "three strikes" sysystem warning of file sharing.

mmm, sounds not too bad right, so if you arent illagally downloading illegal material you should be ok, right? Wrong. The law mean a "trip system" will automatically send out an email warning the user, even if your wireless is accessed by someone else or if you are not downloading illegal content.

After two letters the ISP cuts off your internet and black lists you. Period.

All together now...WTF!!?!

Tired use of World of Warcraft, but still a worthy cause. This legislation should be quashed asap.

I feel very bad for the British, that there is really nothing I can do to help.

It wont take long for something like this to happen in the US, keep your eyes open and don't let the man sneak a Trojan in.

BTW doesn't p2p net like the blizzard downloader count as file sharing? The fools this will only drive piracy deeper underground, and will only hurt their constituents. Besides, doing this will create underground Internet Providers. The internet is like a leak that cant be stopped, its like sand that gets into every thing, you cant stop it. Nor can you stop its followers from finding a way to get to its glorious heaps of information.

In the UK only Virgin and BT has subscribed to "3 Strikes" bollocks I believe - I am in Sweden at the moment, but this is just dirty politics in my mind, the problem legislation is in a Telecoms Legislation and has nothing to do with protecting consumers, worse, its buried away in another bill.

I hope vote against again.
