Bono and U2 played a concert in Glasgow and he asked the audience for some quiet. Then in the silence, he started to slowly clap his hands every few seconds. Holding the audience in total silence, he said softly and seriously into the microphone:
“Every time I clap my hands, a child in Africa dies……”
Then suddenly a voice from the front pierced the silence with a broad scottish accent and said: “Well, why don´t you fuckin' stop doin’ it then you evil bastard!”
