It's seems that the farther out something is, the more appealing it is.
(Having taken psychiatric drugs for depression, and suffered through the withdrawal of terminating, I can't say that what they are saying about them is too far from the truth though).
But all crackpot groups have something of truth in them.

I too would like to see some documentation about all the great things that Scientology has done. My impression that it is a big money sucking machine- and does not do much else.
The simple truth contained in all world religions, "Love yer neighbor as yerself??...that shit never stops being the most succinct truth on the planet. We're doomed I tells ya, cause we never remember how to clean up after ourselves.......
btw...anytime someone uses the word, "panoply" you KNOW they are full of shit!!!
BTW, this video is fast becoming one of the most watched thighys on the interwebs... They are showing bits of Tom's disconnected, vapid rant on the cathode-ray nipple as I type.....
BTW, this is program uses hypnosis, pure and simple.
It's also remarkable how they've apparently edited out those parts where Cruise jabbers incomprehensively. They only left in the parts that .. ehm.. make a bit of sense. Makes ya wonder, don't it?
It so SCARES me that people can fall into complete believing in this crud... it's a case of sprinkle some truths into a mix of utter garbage and some people will cling to the truths and ignore the garbage...
ie. A lot of what they say about drugs and the mind are true, they are indeed WAY overprescribed. BUT their solutions for things, and their other teachings are outright scary, but people see and hear what they want.
