Elizabeth Warren: Donald Trump can NEVER be the President

Via YouTube: Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren spoke at the Center for Popular Democracy's annual gala on May 24, 2016. She discussed Donald Trump rooting for the 2008 housing market crash, his plans to dismantle Dodd-Frank Wall Street reform, and his decision not to release his taxes.

Why, oh, why would she not run for POTUS this year? We truly cannot wait another 4 years.

Instead we get Hillary who doesn't know how to attack Donald, among other more serious problems.

Why, oh, why, can't she just come out and endorse Sanders?
Why, oh, why can't she be offered, and accept a VP position in his administration TODAY so he can win big on June 7th and be ahead of Clinton on votes and delegates?
We need her, he needs her. She seems like the perfect padawan for Bernie-Wan-Sanders, and he can use the support in his struggle against the evil empire.

"The American people are a whole lot smarter than Donald Trump thinks they are. The American people are not ... looking for a man so desperate for power that he will say or do anything to get elected."

Er, no, they're clearly not, and yes, they self-evidently are.

Remember America, you might think this is an election, but the rest of the world views it as an IQ test and right now, you're failing.

Miserably.

She didn't run this time because she was smart. She saw the writing on the wall that the Democratic Elite wasn't going to risk another upstart challenging 'the Clinton'.

We should be amazed and astounded that Sanders has been able to do as well as he has, given that it was a guaranteed that Hils was going to be the nominee before the primaries even started.

I think that she is now just hoping to be Clinton's pick for VP, since she would bring at least a small amount of anti-establishment credence to the main campaign without being the full on, in the face, challenge that a Sanders VP selection would be. Clinton doesn't want to spend 4 years defending her loving support of big business and wall street from her VP as well as the liberals in her party.

What would the rest of the world do in our shoes? Elect the buffoon or elect the most corrupt politician since Nixon? Then again, what type of record does the rest of the world have on electing responsible leaders? Other than a very small handful of countries, I would say the rest of the world either votes in incompetents who mouth the things the populace wants to hear or they vote in the candidate that will least likely get them sent to Siberia; or it's equivalent in that respective country.

I don't know about the rest of the world, but the UK has had our Sanders moment and our Sanders (Jeremy Corbyn) won. He's had it very tough, receiving nothing but bad coverage from a very establishment controlled, rich elite controlled press. They lie about him or things that he has said either by omission or commission and establishment politicians within his own party try each week to cook up another scandal to weaken his leadership.

Getting them elected as a candidate is only the first very small step, but at least we did that. I believe that some other European countries have recently seen a surge in popularity for left-leaning candidates and/or have just managed to defeat a right wing candidate into power.

Having said all that, i think it was a joke. But if America finds itself in a position where it has a choice between idiocy and corruption it is only because of economic policy and the power/money/greed cycle which has led us to crony capitalism and neo liberalism. America led the developed world during that time period, so of course they would see the most extreme effects.

She throws out the "stump speech" lines and "Appeal to Emotion" a lot more than she used to. I don't like that, but it does mean she's becoming a real politician, I suppose.

Sure, there are plenty of incompetents in office around the world, but at least in the western world, there isn't anyone even close to Trump (Tony Abbott in Australia was getting there though).

And "most corrupt politician since Nixon"?? I've seen no evidence of that. She's a US politician, no better or worse than most. If you think she's more corrupt than Cheney or Rumsfeld or even Obama. You'll need some pretty solid evidence. And no, I really don't give a fuck about "emailgate", that was stupidity, not corruption

A lot of her issues come from her time in Arkansas, her legal cases, and her underhanded wall street support in the 90's. She has been lucky so far to not be caught red handed on anything, but she is definitely on par with a Nixon or Rumsfeld. Obama isn't corrupt in my opinion.

Not to mention a closet full of lawsuits.

A dictator in presidential clothing.

On the positive side, he is a good example of a terrible president.

Not by winning the vote.
Even Clinton was liked more than Trump by over 3000000 Americans AFTER screwing Sanders out of a fair shot....explain that.
Biden has always been more popular than her.
Sorry sunshine.
