Dwight Howard is Superman!

budzossays...

This is a lame dunk. Am I being foolish to say his vertical leap doesn't look that huge? The guy is like 6 foot 6. Yeah he sorta threw the ball through the net, but how is that a good dunk, and how is it related to Superman?

He's about 6-11. Like they said, there hasn't really been anyone of size jumping that high since the Reignman was in his prime. The superman outfit is just the icing on the cake, good entertainment

Another look at it from different angles doesn't seem like that great a jump. I was just watching some show on cable the other day where they went through how athletes like Micheal Jordan can make it seem like they're in the air forever but in actuality the longest one they played was about .93 seconds long. I'd say this one pales in comparison.

Well, first of all, Michael Jordan jumped from the foul line and dunked it, not threw it through the net like Dwight. But it is impressive that Dwight jumped using both feet and was able to get that far. Doing that basically killed his forward momentum so that was impressive. Also being able to catch the ball in mid-air then "dunking" it was quite impressive too.

Actually Michael didnt quite jump from the fould line. Only Scottie pipen has dunked from beyond the fould line in the dunk contest.

But I like this effort nice attempt to spice up the normally boring dunk contest.
