In February 2006, Love Ulster and Victims' group FAIR were prevented from marching in Dublin because of serious rioting.

The rioting was organised and orchestrated by a small fringe element of violent militant Irish republicans.

The majority of Dubliners were outraged at the shame this brought on their city. Jeffrey Donaldson, a Unionist MP who attended the march, highlighted the warm welcome the marchers received from many ordinary people in Dublin.

The attack on the parade was an attempt to censor Ulster victims' groups and to demonise the Protestant visitors.

This film was made by Calton members in Dublin. It provides an insight into the feelings of the vast majority of the population of Dublin who support the right to march and oppose the tactics of censorship which certain extreme groups seek to impose.

Another parade is due to take place in September 2007. This has the support of the Irish police and Irish government. It also has the support of a large number of people in the Irish Republic.
