I know Dubai is a hot country... but what the hell is their fixation on White vehicles? I know darker colors don't deflect the heat from the sun as good, but haven't they herad of AC's?

Ironically the Youtube vid included a similar comment; admittedly not *all* the cars are white, though. But the heat reflection is still an important factor, even with A/C - you don't need it to run as hard when the car itself isn't abosrbing as much heat.

If you travel down to Vegas and areas around there you'll notice tons of white cars too - around rental lots anyway.
