The other guys in this vid seemed way too calm. I think I would've bum-rushed him and taken that gun away as soon as humanly possible. Also, I wonder the etymology of "bum-rushed". A google search later, and apparently it means to forcibly eject a bum.
I know this has become pretty tired at this point, but... I call fake. There doesn't seem to be any noticeable recoil or muzzle-flash -- he basically just falls back. And the friends all seem way too laid back that a drunk guy is swinging around a loaded shotgun in their direction. Fakity fake.
What I think happened is he simply stumbled (for real) and the gunshot sound was added post-prouction. Also if the drunk part was real then the gun must be an airsoft, or everyone there KNOWS it's unloaded. I don't know who would be standing that close and unflinching to anyone that drunk with a possibly loaded shotgun.
It'd be great if sound of the shot was really one of his sober buddies throwing a firecracker. He thinks he just shot the gun and falls on his arse down the hill.
Yeah, I don't think they'd be laughing if he'd just fired a shot in the direction of those children. I also don't think the sober people would let him handle a weapon that they thought might be loaded in his state with children in the danger zone.
Fake. Having fired one, I can tell you a shotgun isn't going to give you a slight recoil.
Well - that really depends on the caliber of the shotgun and the type of load in the weapon. If this guy put in a deer slug in a 10 gauge shotgun then its going to have some real kick. If he is loading game shot or target shot into a 20 gauge then he could fire it with one hand and not even twitch.

Yeah, but even smokeless shells have SOMEthing come out the barrel...
Yeah - the lack of any kind of discharge or recoil makes the video pretty suspect. The vid is so freaking grainy though that it's kind of hard to make out fine details.
I'm 99.9% sure the vid's fake in some way.
There does seem to be a very slight recoil though.

..this guy I guess...
Someone off camera to the left shot him.
Back and to the left...
