I think Dr. Phil is totally irritating and patronizing, but the morons who came up with bumfights are totally void of any moral character, and see these homeless people like trash. They are the ones who should be living in the streets.

Dr. Phill is an idoit

a) it is more than likely he knew about the bum fights person before so he just invited him onto the show to take the piss out of him.

b) not having a dialog with Simone how ever much u disagree with them is completely idiotic. the fact is bum fights is exsploitatoin of homeless people but at least Evan accidentally what it dose do is it forces people to confront the issue and it is something to be dealt with

Dr Phil is incredibly ignorant and short sighted anyone who has a TV show should have the intellect and verbal ability to communicate a clear and concise sense of morality and help make the world a better place through razing peoples awareness of various issues.

i think its pritty sick that the bumfights person is a miloinair when the homess people got nothing but its a pritty good reflectoin of the reality of a non socalist capatalistick mentality that manny people in england and america have.

What Dr. Phil assumes his viewers are dumb enough to believe:

Bum Fights are an insult to his intelligence, yet he somehow managed to book a guest, edit together a segment of that guest's video footage, know enough about that footage to warn parents to have their children leave the room, and then be totally surprised by the footage, enough so to kick the guest off the show before the interview begins.

Doesn't seem to me like he's got all that much intelligence to have insulted. Either that, or he's a sensationalist douche bag. Downvote for cheap, crappy television.

Lamest publicity stunt ever. C'mon, this show is heavily researched and scripted, he knew exactly what bumfights was about. But he goes to the trouble of playing the crap on his show (for the shock value) and then feigning righteous indignation as if he was surprised by what he saw. It's like when network news decries the latest shocking video making its way around the web while they loop it over, and over, and OVER. "Yeah, we want the ratings but we have an obligation to pretend we're shocked and appalled."

What does it say about our world when people who make videos like Bumfights, can actually find a consumer market for these videos?

Ultimately the fact is he makes those videos, but someone buys them. Who would want to buy these videos?

It's entirely possible that the dude shaved his head and put on a mustache to mock Dr. Phil and Dr. Phil had only just found out when they put the chair on the stage. You don't invite someone on the show and then kick them off again unless you're so angry with them that you can't stand to look at them.

I actually feel similar to dr. phil about bumfights - I think it is exploiting homeless people and is undeniably demeaning. That being said, kudos for the dr. phil look on the creator.

Upvote so people can go downvote the bumfights. It's good to think about "what makes people like this stuff". Maybe we can stop people from patronizing it, and then people like this will be out of a job, and will have to do something honorable with their time.
