Dog Saved From Euthanasia When Vet Finds Paralyzing Tick

Via YouTube: Ollie the Sheltie’s owners are calling it a miracle that their furry friend was saved from euthanasia when a paralyzing tick was discovered behind his ear.

I guess they can be forgiven, not too many cases of paralytic ticks up here I guess.

Adding video to channels (Canada) - requested by Payback.

It must be rare in Canada it was only found one minute before killing the dog. I worked at a vet one summer in high school. I saw two dogs come in paralyzed, and the first thing the vets did was check it for ticks. One dog, as soon as they removed the tick, the paralysis was gone and it was jumping and running around so happy.
