Dr. Kenneth Miller uses Dr. Beatty's very own example of a mouse trap to prove why he thinks the central idea of intelligent design, irreducible complexity, is wrong. - YouTube

It's really true. You take away 2 integral parts of something and you have a modern liberal. Well, it's good enough logic, I mean.

http://www.videosift.com/video/Disproving-Irreducable-Complexity-with-a-Mousetrap hey.. Tis a dupe, me thinks. (How sad is it that I recognised it just by seeing the thumbnail?.. I need to get out more)

As a programmer I see this kind of thing all the time, no design is flawless, or perfect. As a game design grad i learned that we can expect the game to go on as designed, and then see things that we did not expect because some user(white hat, Blackhat or greyhat) found something and used it to their advantage.

Just because a car doesnt have an engine does not mean it doesnt have other uses, and just because some one lost a finger doesnt mean they cant play the piano or type. These are excellent examples of adaptation, and evolution.

I searched for everything with "mouse trap" in it, but it didn't find it. It's even the same embed code, but the "validate embed code" button when posting said it wasn't used. Sucks that I wasted a beg on it.
