He's probably signaling the punch with a puff of air, the student is pre-conditioned to react to this from working with his instructor... Or, it's a sign that his noodliness can manifest his magical spaghetti sauce power even through non-pirates. You decide!

The more of these I watch, the more skeptical I become. You can't even claim this one is psychosomatic because there was no way for him to suggest what was happening unless there was some unseen method of signaling.

I call complete and utter bs... 'invisible one-inch punch'. Come on. If we want to believe in this we can just move into small villages, start hunting witches and put out food for the elf folk. And why is it so hard to imagine the others are in on it? Because noone ever makes stuff like this up? Right...
