There is a pond in front of the place I work where there are usually lots of geese. There was one in particular that appeared to have a large tumor on its head and acted very oddly. It would go up to cars in the parking lot and "talk" to it's reflection in the bumper. Perhaps it was trying to mate... who knows.
Other geese wouldn't go near it, possibly due to its unsocial behavior. I think it eventually got hit by a car or something. Sometimes animals do strange things... they have medical and psychological problems just like people do.
Though they have brought some supplies with them, these will be eventually exhausted. Given long enough in such a harsh climate, the humans can only last so long. Alas, all we can do for these disoriented or deranged humans heading towards certain death, is play sad choral and violin music. The poor creatures.
- When an American thinks of a penguin, he imagines a tap-dancing baby penguin.
- When a Frenchman thinks of a penguin, he imagines lots of penguins making baby penguins.
- When a German thinks of a penguin, he ponders about certain death.

I know Little Penguins get heatstroke and wander about in the sun when it gets too hot. They also can't cope with fire - the poor things try to preen the fire off their feathers if they get caught in a bushfire.
Could be a brain tumor or something... or perhaps a gene mutation.
It's not a tumor!!
It's obvious that with this ability he was going for the eXtreme downhill penguin belly slide, from the most treacherous peak he could find.
Dismiss pet. Jump down cliff. Call pet. Problem solved.
Only a very few will get this, and none will think it funny... except for me...
I amuse myself often.
a penguin with that much determination shall not be deterred.
'even dwarfs started small' has still left scars on me.
