Third Batman Trailer - The Dark Knight
This shows the trailer for Tim Burton's 1989 movie Batman right next to the newest Batman movie The Dark Knight. Amazing.

It may not be the actual trailer, but it's still kind of neat. Enough for an upvote at least.

Oh god. Well thank god somebody spotted that. I thought that couldn't possibly be true. But even under "false pretenses," it gets an upvote for me just for being cool.

It wouldn't be surprising if it were real -- trailers tend to have to be under 2 minutes and, because of the brevity, need to follow a fairly strict adherence to sequencing of shots as it reveals 1) the film; 2) the characters; 3) the villain; 4) the action; 5) the girl; 5) the plot; 6) the thrill; and finally 7) the tease.

Jeez, you had me going there for a moment. I was thinking "There is NO way they could have been that blatant in ripping off the 1989 trailer..."

Nobody has pointed out yet that even if that isn't the original trailer, you shouldn't even be able to find that many similarities in the two movies... Dark Knight looks like a rip-off now.
